This summer The CLA Game Fair is coming to Warwickshire for the first time since the early 1960s. Held annually at different prestigious country estates and now in its 52nd year, The Game Fair will take place at Ragley Hall near Alcester from Friday 23-Sunday 25 July.
Visitors to the show will enjoy a unique three days of fantastic entertainment with a multitude of have-a-go opportunities for people of all ages to watch and participate in.
Established as the leading annual shop window for the countryside, The Game Fair encompasses all aspects of country sports and rural living with exhibitions, features, displays, championships, competitions and over 900 exhibitors.
While country sports remain at the core of the Game Fair, newer show areas have grown over the years to ensure that it represents all aspects of the countryside and rural living.
An area not to be missed is the Totally Food Show, sponsored by Great British Life incorporating Warwickshire Life, which includes the British Food Village, the cookery demonstration theatre and a lively picnic area. A full programme of cookery demonstrations will take place throughout the three days. Local celebrity and TV personality Colin Coxon will be demonstrating, alongside renowned champion of British and seasonal produce Rachel Green, Michael Moore - whose creations are influenced by the use of local ingredients - and Dean Cole, head chef tutor of Worcesters Eckington Manor Cookery School. The staging for the demonstration theatre is being provided by Heart of England Fine Foods, supported by Advantage West Midlands.
