The Mayor of Hereford, Anna Toon opened the first exhibition of 2011 at the Apple Store Gallery. Since moving from Brockhampton in September 2010, the gallery has participated in h.Art and Photofest and has continued to show work by a range of local artists. Around 70 people attended the opening exhibtion which was a vibrant display of paintings, prints and photographs by new and established artists. Gallery owner Marion Campbell said: We are looking forward to our exciting new venture in Hereford City and shall be bringing regular exhibitions promoting the creativity of Herefordshire and the Welsh Borders together with arts events and a framing service.
