Sir Derek Jacobi, one of Britain's greatest living actors, joined three of his closest friends in an evening of readings and poetry called All The World's a Stage as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations for Herefordshire's Courtyard Centre For The Arts.

Joining Sir Derek on stage were his long-time partner, Richard Clifford, who has many connections with the county; Alexandra James, well-known locally as the owner of the Broadfield Court vineyard and restaurant near Leominster; and Frank Ryding, another long-term friend and consultant anaesthesiologist at Hereford County Hospital.

Sir Derek Jacobi is one of the most familiar faces of stage, screen and TV, with credits including I Claudius, Gosford Park and scores of celebrated stage performances both on Broadway and in the West End, and with the RSC.
