More than 200 guests enjoyed champagne and canapés when The Crown at Celtic Manor was officially launched at the Resort on April 10.

Launched in conjunction with the Michelin-starred Crown at Whitebrook, the Resort's new flagship fine dining restaurant will impress the most discerning of gourmets.

Overseen by executive chef James Sommerin, menus reflect seasonality with a strong emphasis on the use of locally sourced ingredients, producing fresh, intense and punchy flavours.

For the ultimate dining experience, there is a six-course taster menu or the option to take the private Chef's Table, where diners are linked to the kitchen and the preparation of their food via a large plasma screen.
