Beyond point and shoot

Photographer Paul Lack took a group of his students on a photo-shoot, with some fascinating results

Take a group of adults with new digital cameras to a Herefordshire open farm for a photo-shoot and what do they do? Vanish into the tea shop and try out all the cakes, of course. Take the same group to three acres of glorious Herefordshire gardens... not hard to guess where they end up.
They were supposed to be practising skills learnt in previous classes of the photography evening course they were doing. But in and among sampling cakes and drinking tea, some learning must have happened as their pictures here show. Not perhaps the most usual view of Bromyards sights

Beyond Point-&-Shoot runs at the HOPE Family Centre in Bromyard, and is led by Paul Lack. Contact 01885 488495 if youre interested in joining.
