The official unveiling of the imaginative new iconic marque to identify Herefordshire, which uses the first four letters of the countys name in a series of adaptations, took place at Hampton Court Castle and Gardens.

The launch, led by Sir Ben Gill, chairman of Visit Herefordshire, was held as part of an autumn forum, attended by more than 150 members of the tourism organisation and including early adopters of the new logo.

The marque, which can be adapted to trading sectors across industry and tourism, includes the silhouette of a Hereford bull, so it was apt that the magnificent live bull, Albert, supplied by Leominster farmers, Bowens at Ford Abbey Farm, was in attendance to greet visitors at the front of the castle.
