As part of St Michaels Hospice 25th Anniversary Celebrations, a team of friends and family held a clay shooting party in memory of their dear friend and fellow gun Joe Robinson. Joe was a trustee of the Hospice and passed away there, peacefully, almost two years ago.

Joe had organised other such clay shooting parties at his home, Dewsall Court, in aid of St Michaels Hospice and his friends and family felt that the revival of the event in memory of him was a fitting way to celebrate his life and to raise much needed funds for this important local charity. The shooting competition was won by The Halfwits team. There was an auction of promises donated by Joes friends and relatives, and Joes son, Joseph, organised a discotheque which came from London and entertained everyone for the rest of the evening. This relatively small private event raised more than 25,000 for the hospice.
