Lord Bingham of Cornhill, one of the most eminent judges of modern times spoke at a public meeting in The Shire Hall, hosted by Hereford Cathedral Perpetual Trust and the local Law Society. Before the talk Lord Bingham and other guests visited the Cathedral Library to view a copy of the 1217 Magna Carta, which will on display in the late summer in the Mappa Mundi and Chained Library exhibition.
