A Summer Luncheon hosted by the St Michaels Hospice Angels in the Great Hall of The Bishops Palace, Hereford, raised 1,600.

Guests included the mayors of Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and Leominster. The Dave Price Jazz Trio entertained and a marvellous feast was prepared by Jane Fleming and Lyn Price. The Bishop of Hereford, The Right Reverend Anthony Priddis, invited the guests to view the gardens. The funds take the amount raised by the Angels this year to 18,000. The Angels will be at Hereford Racecourse on October 23 to 24 for the Herefordshire Food Festival, raising more funds for the hospice and revving up with fellow motor-bikers The Hairy Bikers.
